autocad vs archicad

Bye to all,
I have this from porvi for some time I have purchased a leica 3d disto, which generates dxf files, convertible to dwg files in 2d and 3d, my question now is this:

I have passed the generated files (dwg and dxf) in another pc, or rather mac, which works only with archicad and not with autocad, I am told that " all overlapping lines are seen and therefore incomprehensible to read".

How can I do to help this friend and make him understand that what I sent him is not an alien message but a relief of a villa? ? ?
is there a program that can be done through?? or another way? ? ?

if it is for an emergency you can download the autocad trial for mac, I don't know why archicad doesn't see the file well.

depends on what the leica generates.
if it generates lines that simply coungiunify the points that it beat, it is obvious that it sees all overlapping lines
