automatic parameter output analysis excel

Good morning to all,

as from object I have created a set of excel type analysis features in order to automatically fill out product specifications.
the part from pro/e to excel goes splendidly I would say, compilation and any updates happen automatically (as long as you remember obviously to save the spreadsheet). But in the part from excel to pro/e it gives me some difficulty. after the creation of the output parameter, downstream of the calculation part carried out by excel, behaves well only the first time. a project change is enough and I noticed with regret that the value of this parameter (which has been &xl_<rownumber>_<columnletter></columnletter></rownumber>) is not properly updated by changing the analysis feature. by the way comes a message that says that this parameter cannot be updated.
the harmful consequence is therefore that it is my duty to manually edit the value in drawings with the risk of making mistakes!

I don't know if it's normal. versions are created 1.0 m050 and microsoft excel 2003.
how do you behave? can you update the parameter value yourself?

If this is not possible, would you know how to indicate an alternative path?

Thank you, soon

Hi.
In the past, I also used procedures that provided for the exchange of data between different software, such as excell, access etc., but there were always problems that could cause big trouble if you did not pay the right attention.
I am currently trying to do as much as possible within pro-e, at least I am sure that updates and changes do not betray me.
Is this not a solution for you?

hello dani and thank you for having responded!
I too am of your own opinion to do if possible everything within pro/e. In this case, however, I can't just because the product specifications have been made with excel on the specific request of the comm.le mould in order to create a technical catalog connected in real time to the product specifications; so that any change is automatically propagated to the downstream industrial sectors. then they from excel import in publisher the tables and charts and print the catalogs to give to customers.
In the end I am not very concerned about the association of changes because eventually the flow from pro/e to excel (already tried) is ok, so the downstream industrial sectors (quality control and comm.le) are in place. only that I would be useful to reimport the result of the calculation in pro/e in a parameter, which I would then have stated in the table in a technical drawing.
this only for completeness, so if the workshop editor takes in hand the design already knows what will be the test conditions to be carried out on the product, without having to access the documentation of quality control.
