Good evening,
I have the 2020 version of solid edge.
I have to replace the background squares in a thousand dft, taking them from a source file.
Does anyone know if there is a macro or procedure to do this job?

in this folder you will find a program called "batch" which among other things can replace the cartilage.

c:\program files\siemens\solid edge 2020\custom\batch\bin\batch.exe

Could the dir. "custom" have disappeared in Vers. 2022?
in any of our new installations is present (!? ).
I would really need the "batch" mark, but in version at least 2020, what I recovered from st7 does not offer the possibility to replace the cart.

Is there anything for those who have previous versions? Unfortunately this voice is already missing on 2019.

I have a macro called "replace se draft file border.exe" which is probably too old and not working.

My problem is that if, using "design manager" I send a customer a copy of the work all the drawings in which the date is set as a "date of origin" parametric field are updated at the date of copying the file, which I would like to avoid. I therefore want to replace all current cartilages with new ones where the date of creation of the drawing is a static field.

I took the batch.exe of a newer version that apparently does its job: Start version 219, you see the cad opening and closing the drawings until the end of the set work, and the log telling me that it's all right: "successfully replaced background etc etc. etc. The problem is that then going to reopen these files I find them with the last updated rescue date, but still with the old cart. suggestions?

Problem solved: the reason for failure to replace is that I had to change a parametric text that was inside a block. the replacement procedure of the cartiglio still went to resume the block inside the current draft instead of that, with the same name, present in the new template.

I renamed the block in the template and now the replacement is carried out as planned.
