Hello, I have recently entered a company that deals with third-party design, very often I am in charge of drawing carpenters for which I proceed so:
- I create a part by drawing the sketch of the welded structure.
- I create a set where I insert profiles through a frame generator.
- insert (from a library that I created) all reinforcement plates or for fixing via bolts.
- I create the table with the distinct materials in which the library pieces also appear. Now I would like the program to automatically insert a already quoted detail of the standard plate.... is it feasible?

good morning, I would say that the fastest way (see that it is standard plates) is to copy the view already made by another design and paste it on the target design. the copied view also carries the annotations.
if you want a view of detail, that should be done manually and at the most you can try to recover the odds from the model.

Hi.
if the detail you need to insert, is a standard symbol sore not connected to model 3d current, the easiest thing is to create a symbol and insert it as if it were an autocad block.
In case you use .dwg inventor files for the table, you can directly insert the symbol from an autocad design which contains the block you want to load. if you use .idw files, you need to create the symbol or within the template template template that you use habitually or within the library template
