It's like asking the same question for polite or octopus. each university has different ideas with their nuances of teaching.
in general the courses are similar but usually, a little for historical teachers, a little for the traditions of the areas and their activities it has that each university has a different education on students.
for the mechanical engineering of the structures I would say that to is better because more methodical and leaves behind what is pure theory of 60 years ago. for those concerning experimental tests, wind tunnel, strange applications I am more equipped.
then when you live in it you appreciate things that no one knew... so eventually... see the wider context.
also to the polimi all courses of the master are in English... not so much because we must learn foreign languages but because foreigners have come here in mass and therefore it is the only way to understand. It is a pity that in this way we already understand little of the technical subjects... because there are some ostical ones... but then you just don't know a pipe anymore.
This is it!!!! down the arms.... and the rest is from itself
and you would remake the choice of engineering of the car or do the specialist in mechanics and then the master in ag. of the Av? so as to have a wider preparation
depends on the skills you want to acquire. Unfortunately the courses are changing and you bet too much on the theory of so many things but when you are in a company and you are operational you have to know:
- design gears, gears, profile correction and optimize
- calculate and measure power transmissions maybe we talk about 500/700/1000 kw
- bearings, such as, expansion, special trees, grooves, just but not expensive treatments
- choice of motors of big power, limiters of torque maybe to invent because those from commerce are big, joints of all kinds
- deformations of electro-welded frames of various sizes, welding, fatigue testing
etc. etc. etc. do all these things so be 8 out of 10 as vote .... I'd say college doesn't form a pipe.
They teach you to do the fem by hand instead the programs that do it there are automatically, they make you do double and triple derivatives... a lot of things but then? What are you doing? perhaps the dynamic course could be more full but also more practical
