Hi.

I'm making a set consisting essentially of biella and piston (and all its components such as spindle, bronzine etc.)...I managed to create the axieme and allow the pison to rotate around the axis of the spindle. ..but I can do so that the piston does not intersect in the biella; I should basically avoid rotation of 360 degrees and avoid interconnection.

Does anyone help me?

Thank you.

so I'd like to tell you to try to activate the contact resolution, select the pieces that don't have to intersect, right-click, contact group and then activate the contact resolution, there are alternatives but it depends a bit on how it is

Although I select only the piston...only the biella or both...the voice "contact group" remains gray and not clickable. . Only once you click on the single biella has become clickable...but then activating "resolution contacts" nn changes nothing

solved as you said!!!! only that I had enabled "adactive" on the piston and therefore nn it was possible to activate "contact group"! !

Thank you very much

but now I ask you another thing (I take advantage of it excuses )...I created the piston rod...which was inserted in a new set where the engine shaft is present...in the latter together I lost the rotational movement of the piston around the spindle..in essence biella and piston are solid and rotate solidally around the shaft of the shaft...how do I maintain the movement of the piston around the spindle? ? ?

Thank you.

you have to mount all single components in the same set. .
as you noticed, the piston axieme became "rigid"

or alternatively select the axieme, right, flexible

once set as flexible you can move it even if it's a subaxieme

yes I had noticed...the problem is that in this way the movement becomes "chaotic" and uncontrollable.

thanks anyway for the suggestions!

I don't have the pallidest idea of how your set is, but I guess when you try to move something the "crash" piece here and either bounces or similar junk, you probably can solve with limits on position constraints or adding new constraints

to set the limits of constraints, when you hit a constraint if you press on the punch with ">>" next to the application opens the tab to put limits
