hello to all

I am carrying out in a set of work such as holes and sunshades, on a component, since I need some references that I have in the axieme...I would like to see that these works remain in the part or when I open the *.ipt file I would like to find the holes and the sunshades made in the environment together

Is that the procedure?

open the part and do the work.... you have to decide it before you start doing any work if you do it in part or together! !
joint processing is usually those that are carried out once the welding is completed and there are to be made of sanding, puncture or other in tolerance and are not included in part.

the reasoning is right, but sometimes it is convenient to use the parts already bound together to find exact positions on which to operate.
therefore for tmeinventor:
if you
together make holes with sketch on a face and projection geometry,
You didn't match holes on the side.
but if before doing the operation (always together), double-click on the part to drill and then do the sketch operations, geometry projection and drilling, then dx key in an empty area of the screen,-> fine mode and save, now you have your holes even in the part.
If you open the part you will see that the holes are made with the same sketch that you did projecting together............ .

When you double-click on the part to change it, this doesn't have to be open already, otherwise it shows you the part and not the rest of the assist.. .

in fact I am doing so...with double clik open in together the rest becomes transparent, but cmq the reference geometries are projectable on sketches...so I modify the part intended as file *.ipt in combination
