hi to everyone, I am new to the forum and as I anticipated in the presentation I recently started working in proe wf4.

I have to perform a very basic operation (extrusion with subtraction up to a surface designed by me). I tried everything, nothing to do, I don't understand what I'm wrong.
I attached the file. the extrusion sketch is the 6 while the arrival surface is the revolve1.. .

Can anyone help me?
I press that I have sought answers within already open discussions but I have found nothing (they are all more serious and not so banal speeches..

You just can't do it in one shot.
Unfortunately I no longer have the wf4 on the pc however the steps are these:

1- extrude your sketch nr.6 but do it with closed surface
2- Coptics of the already created revolution surface 1 ctrl c+ ctrl v
3- Select the 2 surfaces by holding the ctrl key, then go to edit/join menu and will show you the yellow arrows for the side to hold.
4-selections your final surface change/solidify menu and remove the volume

ps: if you don't want to keep your revolution surface you can skip step 2.

greetings

Thank you for your help. I have to get used to pro/e... but so in general it is advisable to use the surfaces for subterraces?
Fortunately next week I begin a training course.
(among other things in Switzerland)

but it depends, there is no specific rule, there are operations that can be done directly, others where you lean on the surfaces to simulate the Boolean operation, this is an example.

Yes? next week I have to hold a training course, to an Italian winery... :-)
Do you want to see that you are under my clutches?

Amazing how small the world is... !
Then I'll see you next week! :finger:
Yes definitely!
prepared, on the contrary, you have happened in terrible hands!

ps: think the fate, before this avatar I had a bulldog, you were now predestined to pass to pros and to take the course from me.
