batch for search/replace blocks on multiple designs

Good morning, guys.

scenario:
I have 1000 designs there is a way to search for a block (with its name).
in the first line to know which drawings is present, in the second line to replace it with another.

It seems simple, but I don't know how to do it.

help!

you can use the command adc (autocad design center) to find a block inside the dwg files contained in a folder (and related subfolders).

in the command window select the tab "folders", select a hd folder and then enter right mouse click. in the context menu select "located...

in the new window that opens select the "lock" item in the list search and enter the block name to search in the "Search Name" box.

for substitution I think it takes a program that is ad hocified in a script, try searching on the net.

we are halfway through the solution, if I find 1000 designs where I have to replace a block now I can find them, but for the replacement I have searched but at the moment I have found nothing.
