Hello everyone! I am a master mechanical engineering student I have to make the model of a lithium-ion battery (sony 18650) and study his mechanical impact behavior with ls-dyna prepost. the model takes into account the different components of the battery (external shell, copper sheets and aluminum, active material of anode and ctode, separators) and has a high detail therefore. It's the first time I've been using this software and I'm experiencing difficulties, especially in understanding which keywords to use.
my question is if you are aware of material about the topic I'm dealing with and if there are guides to better understand how to use the software in this case. more or less I have seen and understood how to make mesh, assign materials and sections to parts, apply loads etc. in ls-dyna prepost but some aspects are still not clear to me (as for example how to bind the various parts among them).
Thank you for your help!

You already asked the same question. It only creates confusion. You have to be patient.
I have provided to report the post

Hello Masses! you had already placed the same question in another thread but I did not receive answer and I thought to put it here to have greater visibility (maybe). I wanted to erase the old post but I couldn't, can I ask you how to do it?

you created the other discussion Saturday, so on the weekend in which people break, more or less plug, on a topic very niche and already scalped because you did not receive answers?
edit: If you are in a hurry a forum like this is not the ideal place to ask certain questions; Maybe you should ask your teachers or the library of your university.

if you have a wrong section where you can open a discussion and cannot cancel it (you have 15 minutes) I have to contact one of the many moderators

hi, I received the message in which you ask me to close the discussion, but the link included nn works. Do you confirm that this is the discussion to be closed?

I think the other one has already been eliminated, probably as a result of my report.
Could you clean this by leaving only the request?
Thank you.
