Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I would have a question to ask. I would like to build a 1d model in patran using the beam element, however I have problems as the cross section of the beam is of double channel type (it is not between the inside sections of the program, so I defined it as arbitrary shape giving the ends) and not presenting symmetry with respect to two axes has cutting center not coincident with the baricentre. Patran gives me a warning of this thing by telling me that the section I insert is not indicated for the cbar element, so I tried to use cbeam elements but the results I get are not good the same. Could someone give me some advice? Thank you very much
