Good morning.
are in difficulty with the structural analysis to carry out on ipt files made with inventor 9. importing such files directly into ansys, mesh is not generated (problematic geometry). generating, always with inventor, its iges and step files, are included the lofts of the model and once again the mesh is not generated. Is there a methodology that allows to realize iges or steps without surfaces? exists a format more suitable for structural analysis, produced by inventor?
