bind copies models to original

Good morning to all,
I have a question: in my work it often happens to have to realize a 3d model, complete with subsequent putting in the table, and then to have to realize of the equipment "contour" (e.g. for assembly, or production) starting from the original model. In practice, until now I have always copied the original model, and from rework it to find the equipment you want.
the problem arises when a change to the original model is necessary. If in the meantime I had made 6/7 "contour" equipment, I would have to change 6/7 models besides the original one, which as you can imagine, can lead to errors and discrepancies.
Is there a more practical way to cope with this situation?

Thank you in advance for any answers.
Have a good day!

Hi.
the solution is one of the best of creo, that is the copy geometry that allows you to copy the geometry of a model within another. often it is used to copy a crude in its finished so that if I change the lamb directly also the finished (update can be managed).

Hi.
I agree in full, and add that packaging is very useful too.

exact .. packaging (shrinkwrap) is a copy geometry of multiple components that has some extra options. if you want there is also the merge/inheritance (most evolved copy geom).

attention to shrinkwrap which has a lower accuracy than copy geometry, would be the most suitable for these applications.

a recommendation that I give you for these cases (I made calibers for automotive for almost 2 years) is not to try to update all the external geometries of the various elements, this because the errors that can be generated, can be longer to settle, of the modification to be made.
In some cases, I exported as step the modified model and imported it into the equipment, through the sisco.
from here, in the pieces to edit of the equipment, I only copied the geometries of the changes, much more stable and fast.

Thank you so much for the answers.. .
but to use it it takes some special package?
because I found the function but it's darkened, I can't use it.. .

it's in the advanced assembly package, but if you do equipment, believe me that it pays back in zero time, between skeleton, publications, skeleton mechanism and especially copy geometry, once you start using these commands, you don't do any less.
