Good morning.

I'm a new member of the forum, although I've wanted to sign up for a long time.
I am currently a mechanical engineering student at the fifth year.
I am learning thanks to a book the basics of creo parametric 6.0.0, now I am beginning to create small assemblies with top-down methodology.
My problem is that I cannot assign the constraints to the parts created by this method, so created in the assembly environment.
using the bottom-up technique I manually insert each part and therefore I individually inserted each bond.
I tried to take inspiration from this discussion https://www.cad3d.it/forum1/threads/vincolare-part-creata-nellassembly.51880/ But I couldn't.
I tried to find other methods, but nothing.

I explain to you with a very basic example:
part 1 I created it with this menu

1612696401555.webpI then selected the reference system and created the part with the usual methods:1612696588254.webpthen click on create and to create the second part use this menu:1612696702609.webpI opened part 2 in a separate window and defined the 3 floors default, so belonging to part 2.
I created the plunger, drawing the sketch on the upper circular face:1612697492606.webpI can't define the course constraint at part 2, certainly wrong with some reference or plans.. .1612697738248.webpcertainly this is due to my inexperience with creo, any help will be well appreciated.
if there are no details, write as well.

Good day

Bye. Can I help you but do I need to know if you have a commercial license or a creo student? Do you also have the advanced axial module? with this information I can answer you more punctually.

I usually in top-down use the copy option from existing (because I have a start part), then in the first line check siscoo to siscoo. to simulate a more real assembly at finite modeling remove the constraint and put traditional constraints trying to simulate a "real assembly" process
