thanks to the answer,
not discussing choices, we are great vaccinations etc.
You know that in this area you are welcome.
See you soon!

in fact nx user I am also dealing with other issues like tritangente face blend (nx8) but I no longer give answers in this forum because I am leaving because I can not give technical answers.
Hello everyone
I also opened some er for the tritangent and rope blend.
So we're already two.

Good morning to all
I have a problem with the blend corner (up to top) see "imm01".
I can not have a satisfactory result with nx functions (sto using nx8) attached image "imm02" and "imm03".
I saw that with catia "imm04" the result is satisfactory.
Does anyone know any workarounds?
Thank you very much
hello matfio and dear flavio as you are

monster as well you know already we talked about the fillet of catia memories:wink: in a discussion

I also made you a video of how catia realizes the fillet by taking the technique of master flavio

I hope it is useful to all

greetings

I analyzed, with nx tools, the catia blend corner, posted by matfio long ago and the corresponding made with nx.

the results are, in my opinion, surprising and are illustrated in the attached images (at the left catia mirrored on itself to dx nx mirrored on itself):

nx makes a 'symmetrical' blend but that leaves to be desired from the point of view of aesthetics,
catia makes a 'asymmetric' blend but very valid from the aesthetic point of view.

so, talking about it also with matfio, to us it seems that certain 'automatic' solutions, that is, of commands already prepared, can go well in many cases, while in particular cases it is necessary to intervene to 'hand' creating appropriate curves and surfaces to obtain the desired result.

I think a similar result gets with a nside in nx.
is a very common problem in the automotive sector... since, in recent years, it has begun to claim also on the bones "to view" a trend if not like the outside (in curvature) at least without sudden jumps and "plates".
The only problem of the nosis is that it is difficult to automate.
in nx9 I feel like I heard a "blend corner" will come for this.

.... kills I hear odor of great modulucci;)

the command used in the rs4 video is part of the freestyle module (as the_matrix says for a fee).
I think rs4 used that command only to simulate the same command that used flaviobrio88 with omnicad.
wishing could also use the controls of the classic surface module, without additional modules.

Hi.
I think we went out of the sown.
we talk about fittings, not patches.
the edge fitting do it all and two with the basic license, only that nx (parasolid hat) does it with too many patches not as a catia.
opening an er is the solution and we hope that they do not put it in a bundle but that it is the same type of connection with a special option to make it look like that of catia.

Hi.
Hello stef

I just saw the answers in fact what I did and the reproduction of flavio in a single command touching only the edge acquires the tangency or automatic curvature.

but wanting with the basic form of filling catia you do equal ....

It was because the patent has us and omnicad: eek: joke.... .
