hi to everyone, I read the various discussions about the contained center, but I found nothing to do with my case.
use inventor series 10.
in the company we use a lot of special bolts (for special I mean lengths out of norm).
currently if a screw is not present in the contained center, the design starting from the base of a shorter one, varying its length and rename it.
I wondered if it was possible, modify an original database, increasing the available lengths and then finding them in the standard content center list.
I attach an image, in which the available lengths stop at 40, we reach up to 160 passing through all the intermediate lengths, how do I make them appear there? ?
it would be nice to find, for example, the original xls file where there are all the lengths to which referment the sketch formulas, add rows and measurements and find them in the center contents... Is there something like that? ?
Thank you so much! !

if I don't remember badly, the database of screws like that of the holes is an excel sheet, then the measurements are approached from there out of order. test and if necessary confirm or deny;)

Hi.
you could save the base of your screws from the local centre; modify them at will and then publish them in the cc through the "public" option and consequently use the cc instances as for the standard parts.

I thought about it, but unfortunately I couldn't find the excel file, do you know where to find it?
I imagine he has a set of values from which they take parameters for parametric sketches.
Thank you!
