Another problem, this time of constraints. .
I have to do the analysis of some pockets on a tree,
but I can't set the constraints properly.. Can you give me a hand?

What constraints should I impose in bearing locations?
I can't fix sections or shifts, otherwise ansys studies me a
double channel.. :-s where bearings are the sections can rotate. .

today I am more confused than ever..:confused:

Did no one happen to do such a standard analysis? o.o.
We used the classic interface, monodimensional theory,
but I'm just curious to know if the same can be done with the workbench
and the model not simplified.. would be very useful. .

I look forward to an answer,
knowing that I can count on you!

Thank you.

I don't know how to do it, but I wanted to change the topic title in "bond bearing type"
that perhaps is less misleading than the present.. :

Hi.
to make it simple in wb you can isolate the face of the tree where the bearing (obviously from the cad unfortunately..) then select one of the two faces of the cylinder, insert a new system of reference (which you should automatically center in the axis of the tree) then insert a remote bond to which block the translation in the two directions orthogonal to the tree (in fact blocking the translation so radial cylinder) . at the end of the analysis you will have to check that the rotation of the section is acceptable for the bearing (just to give an idea for a radial ball bearing not adjustable we are in the order of 6-7 first), otherwise you can insert in wb a command window, define a knot at the point you want is the center of rotation of the section, and with the command cerig or rbe3 constraints all the knots on which the master node rests that you will go to
