booleane con archicad?

I've been jammed. I'm not doing the right way, tell me if I'm sacking.
As an attached design, I would like to remove from the building the geometry in red and then put in its place another factory body that will be higher than that to cut.
the problem is that if I use the instrument "operations with solid elements" select as objective element the walls and falde, and as operator element the red parallelepiped, when I execute the subtraction, archicad does not erase the red parellelepiped but leaves it on stage and if I gate, the bonfires and previously cut walls are restored losing the cutting action!

Does anyone have advice?

archicad does not erase. This is one of the best things about solid elements.
Once you do the Boolean operation, you have to put the operator element in a polished off.

If I have understood well and you want to subtract the red volume from the white ones you have to proceed like this:
select the target elements (white ones), select the operator (red one), subtraction and then put the red in a hidden gloss
