build column

Hi to all, I am new to the forum and novelline in the use of archicad 4 days exactly, I wanted to realize the base of a column composed of lines, polylines and arches quite complex to then elevate this base and get my column, but using the commands group and unify I can not join everything I remain detached parts (I would like to close everything like it was a region with autocad and then extrude the base), what I guess.

as from the title I found a solution I had to correct all the lines and then join the whole, this figure can therefore be extruded or elevated , like faces to extrude it following a precise trajectory or tried with the revolution but I can not (perhaps wrong the setting of the plans) the method is correct or I can use other ,thanks for the answers:finger:

I can extrude the figures in straight line but I would like to follow arched trajectories as you do?thanks
