via resource browser I have found some ready veluxs, put them on the roof but the problem is that then I can't change them, I can only decide the position they need to occupy.
How could I do to have a little more customizable veluxs as model, size, etc? a little like you do with the windows. .

Hi.
being symbols you have to edit them to edit them. by clicking on it twice the editing window appears.
are 3d symbols so you have to edit the 3d component to customize them.
The best thing is that before you change them, you make a copy of it, duplicate it and change its name from the resource shovel.

but at this point I have a doubt: I would like to change the velux before inserting it into my project so then put it on my already beautiful roof ready with the right size.
I tried to open the symbol in a new file, edit it and trace it back but at that point it becomes a normal .vwx file and no longer hangs it on my house because it no longer recognizes it as object 3d!

duplichi by changing his name (select it and right-click it, a context menu appears with all the items you need).
You're publishing it, instance 3d of course. When a symbol appears in the drawing from the resource paddle, the symbol appears in modality. modify it and exit the symbol.
at this point the new velux symbol is ready to be inserted into your design.

Remember, however, that of a 3d symbol (or ibirdo) you must obviously editate the instance 3d.
If you change a symbol in another file, you still have to import it from the resource card to the file where you have to insert it. change his name, I recommend!
