we do not work, our use is really ridiculous, at most we read some dwg coming from customers and we check the dwg and dxf we export.
if I have to draw directly in dwg use autocad lt or autocad mechanical.

I checked and the license agreement includes:
"1. License
with this contract, ds grants the licensee una Free license, non-transferable...."
but there is no explicit reference to the number of installations that that license allows. One for sure.. .

in compensation it is specified very well that the programs subject to the license: "...they will not be used in any nuclear, chemical or biological weapons or missile launch systems... "
then look at what you teach us: nothing that has an ogival form, with directional wings, tail rulers etc.
for safety I would not even make molds for suppositories :smile: @kail. if, as it is written on the web page of the draftsight download, you had clicked on the download button you would have opened premium the popup with license agreement to read... :mixed:

I don't understand all these paranoids. the software is free for stand alone use and use for professional purposes is not prohibited. It is also a great program that runs on multiple operating systems. being a proprietary software there is no guarantee that it will be free forever but at the moment by dassault there is no statement about it. download it and use it without problems.
