I have inserted a dwg of autocad as the basis of my design in revit.
But now it seems to be stuck I can't tell or hide it anymore.

the image you uploaded unfortunately says little. But you could check if the dwg isn't stuck. In particular, I recommend you check the buttons at the bottom right on the main screen.
If it was blocked it would still be possible to hide it... then I agree with you that that image could even do without charging it so much it serves nothing
