Good evening
any of the forum tried or had a chance to try this cad??
seeing the presentation and the price where the trick is then, if one decides to buy it???
Seeing the movies would look great, but with that license price how much they charge then the courses etc.?
Thank you.

like all economic things, it must be carefully evaluated.
it can also cost 1/5 of a cad of those coughs but... if the money saved you spend it in 6 months, because you need twice the time to design a mold, you will not have done a good deal.
download the demo try it and then try with others again.
as you make molds and have to deal with complex objects I am led to think that it is not very suitable for what you do.

I had seen videos recently, as simple cad for direct modeling, looks great, given the reduced cost. Of course, as zw cad is not equal to autocad, this is not creo&co.

I got to see it in action and while not having a comparison with other mechanical cads (I only have rhino), it looks great.
is a hybrid cad, modeling surfaces and solids, has a simple tool for reverse, a powerful morphing command etc.
Does anyone have any other experiences to bring back?

what do you mean by morphing, conversion from one form to another by editing intermediate forms? I didn't see anything about this in the videos, but it sounds interesting. how does it work?

I can't tell you much because I saw him at work an hour while I was evaluating the purchase.
Yes the morphing is that you can see an example watching the video of the news of tspline. Give him a curve or a surface and he passes the surface for that curve or surface.

we use zw3d,, it really works well
I am considering whether to buy zw3d you have advice? ...I project dies for haircut and come from acadlt2d, do you think it is better this or rhino 3d?

Did someone use it for this kind of project?
Thank you.

Hi.
I am using it from one year, project presses draw sheet and draw for die casting and die casting molds, I did not do courses and I tried to learn alone with the help of assistance.
For the price I paid for it is complete, it also has a lot more visi things I use, the only thing I find a little slow is the 2d quotation, but it's constantly developing and I think it's getting better.

I believe that there is no comparison between zw3d and rhino, thisulltimo a simple 3d modeler, while zw3d is a parametric hybrid modeler with the functions for the design of molds, bookcases, management together and verification of cinematisms. In the premium version also has a great cam.

thanks for the answers...as reliability and precision in the carryover of the various drawing formats as you behave?

without problems import and export iges step parasolid and stl files,
import native files of catia, sw, invento, nx and proe

ok ..so it seems to me a great value quality price, how commands it is not difficult to learn?

very intuitive,
Of course it's a cad3d, you have to get off the carcad
What can be the main difficulties encountered in switching from one system to another? acad vs zw3d

I have a cam pacw for erosion wire you also have a comparison on this?

zw3d integrated cam for milling 2 axes 3 axes and turning and optional 5 axes continuous

Hi.
the pacw is cam 2 axes 1/2 I used it to program the centers and the wire, with zw3d there is nothing to compare, the difficulty that I found to use a non parametric cad (visicad) to zw3d was propio this management together and parts that in a normal cad you can manage it only with layers etc.
However you can download it for free for 30 days and try it.
excellent import of native files included in the license (which others make you pay to gold weight).

So now with zw3d use the integrated cam?

If I wanted to use the pacw (I saw that I paid it and I have all the jobs already done) I could export 2d files from zw3d to upload them to the pacw?
