Hello everyone, in the company where I work we recently bought a plasma cutting machine. with the machine we also took the software "of the house" which is called wingal.
I leave the comments on this software and I immediately come to the point:
do you know how to tell me other software to make the nesting that can give me the .iso file? as a budget we're on 4k.
Thank you in advance who will help me.
greetings

a few days ago I had heard that autodesk had a solution in that sense. Monday I could inform me about the product and place the name ok?

then I informed myself, the software that should do to your case is called:
trounest troucamera majestic system of autodesk.

I hope I'm not wrong and I've been helpful.

Hello, everyone!
I've been in the industry for a while.

of cam software there are several, everything depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend.
with 4k you can have a decent product, but then depends on what they offer at the contract level
(mandatory updates, assistance, etc...)

I supply various solutions to customers with plasma/oxidation cutting machines
(I am especially specialized in cr electronic machines)
from various post-processor to interfaces with other cams and various outputs (iso, they, etc...).

Let me know.

Sorry, everyone. Maybe I got here with a little delay. I work with a machine that cuts and affects materials like mainly wood and pmma now as by necessity I have to prepare nestings I noticed that all programs come out a file txt or iso and my machine does not read such files. I would need the dxf of every single slab with tested pieces. My problem of wanting to nest on a work plan 1300 x 900 is to make the most of the space since we talk about small details not to manage exactly everything that makes a program like that. I would need for example the same file that the program prints on the a4 sheets in dxf format so that I take and pee my sheet in the laser program, select all the templates and tell me to start cutting all the figures with power and speed I say.

Thank you all!

Hi.
I have not understood well whether the machine you are talking about receives files in a particular format or only accepts
dxf files. cncs usually receive the file with the instructions of the paths to be executed and the commands ignition/off/speed etc...
if you give me more information I can help you or suggest possible solutions.
For example, machines such as cr electronic plasma cuts using wincam nesting programs or winplasma received the file with the instructions already ready for the cnc for the execution and cutting of the various tracks.

Hey, let me know.

hello fabrizio and thanks for your interest.

the program that I go out is dedicated to a laser cut and engraving "Chinese" although this does not remove that his work however does it well.
My program digests files that I attach to you in image along with a small overview of the program itself. Of course it does not digest the gcodes but until the pieces were some (about 10) and of only one thickness I had no problem, but since the work widened and some distinct have more than 5/6 pieces for 60 drawings and moreover of different thicknesses, the game gets tough and the nests made by hand always lead me to forget someone on the street. ?
at this point I thought of taking the best path and entrusting to a program studied for this purpose the work of fixing the pieces with criterion and with the right quantities but ahimè the output file that is exported to me is only a txt file with the gcode.
the part of the points of attack and power to me would not even serve because anyway I should set it manually in the program of the laser by selecting all the silhouettes but with the gcode the machine does not understand anything and then I thought there was a way to convert this imaginary code into a sort of dxf design with its figures lying within the perimeter of the plate, but I find nothing. to tell the truth, for me would be perfect also the a4 sheet that never is printed with the nest of each single nested sheet and would be perfect, but it is not possible. I hope I made you the idea... what do you think?

so, if I understand correctly, the program that manages multi-material and multi-form nesting you already have,
the problem is that this program only creates .txt files that your machine does not read because it reads only dxf.
correct?
If so and you want to keep your nesting program the only solution I can propose is the development of a tool dedicated to this conversion (txt--> dxf).
Hi.

Forgive me, but isn't it easier to lean on nesting programs (there are also very simple and economic) that allow you to input individual dxf files and output the nesting dxf?
then once you have the slab dxf with all the nested pieces you do what you want with the cam you currently have.

there is software sicam di s.i. engineering that could be your case.
I saw it working on plasma esab, cr and soitaab.
