but I can not get a correct profile of the route
I'm wrong.
I have with inventor no you can get the real result
Does anyone know how to solve??? ? especially knows how to make a cam with correct mathematics? ? ?
inventor I don't know him, but I did so many drawing the track first on the floor, extruding the width of the cam follower or slightly more and then wrapping it on the defined diameter. after which Boolean subtraction from the cylinder.
it works because then these geometries I passed them to the cam and everything turns without games and impurities of the pin even at important speeds ( 1,5 m/sec) for the math of the profile I use a polynomial of 5° on excell and amount the function to create the median line of the cam on the cad. or define the fundamental points of the path and throw a spline. Of course the success entirely depends on how you were accurate in defining accelerations, pressure angles, bends etc., but I don't think you're asking this. Yours seemed like a modeling question.
exact...I care that the modeling is correct...I do so with inventor,I wind up on the cylinder the eztern lines of my track(which I disgnated on a sketch) then I create 2 surfaces sweep using the lines wrapped, and finally I divide the cylinder...but the result is not correct
