I wondered and I ask you importing a stl project in rhino you can calculate with a function, the thicknesses of the whole project? ? ?
for example by setting a x data (minimum thickness) to have a match on the whole solid??? ?

the _thicknessanalysis (or thickener) command shows a map of the thicknesses; can be applied to mesh and surfaces and polysuperfici (closed or even open)
the result is better if you have a mesh (a display mesh for surfaces) very refined, and of course if you analyze a part of which makes sense to talk about "thickness" (if you draw a potato and analyze the thickness you find a stuff all colored meaning nothing. . )

thanks paolo, I need this verification as I have big problems of remakes on external work.
now I can verify the thickness of a point or a mesh wall.
but have a function where indicating a minimum parameter (thickness),
automate me by mapping the area not suitable undersized.

I tried the analysis/thickness function the result is not bad even if there is not a great deal, even with small projects remains 10 good minutes to calculate
I'd need something similar, maybe an analysis software.
I spulved a bit and found geometric caliper but does not analyze the stl
do you know/you know something similar?? ? ? ?
