Hello.

as we often do all, use various 3d in step or similar of commercial components, but of course (see case of bearings), the pro-e recognizes them as solids, and when I put them in section I dissect them completely.

(for example we all know that the bearing spheres are not to be dissected etc...... not being an axis I cannot exclude the sole spheres).

Is there a way to erase for example the only line of section that dissect the sphere of the cusc....in the table? ?

(I carry the bearing case because it seems to me the easiest to explain)

I thank in advance whoever knows how to give me some tips!

Hi.

from what I know, the only way to do what you want is to exclude the component from the section.
If you say it's a standart component, it wouldn't be right because the standart components would normally not be dissected.
the method I use to speed up the procedure is to use a macro.

What do you mean when you say:

"it wouldn't be fair because the standart components, as a rule, should not be dissected. "

ok for axes, trees, washers, invitations, bows....etc, which for regulations should not be dissected in the section of assemblies, but there are pieces (see my example bearings 6001 or 6005 etc.).. that they dissect in part.

from some sites you can download those compoents as assemblies and in which case you can exclude from the section only the details you do not want dissected, but in my opinion it is a useless loss of time and weighting of the design. alternatively select the component, set a very large deduction so as not to see anything and finally "cover" the details you want with sketches and then perform the desired sampling. I usually do not dissect this type of components (unless I care to evaluate games, interferences, etc.), when the particular is branded you understand well what it is!

sprendour of being useful.

Thank you for the answer.
The sketch is a good compromise.

the discourse of precision and correctness of the table often for me depends on the customer for which I have to do it, some companies want the regulations to be respected 100%, others accept small compromises according to the speed of execution of the project.

I agree with you when you say that once you're branded you understand exactly what it is.
However, take into account that according to who will go into the design when there are certain "errors" of legislation you can also pass by ignorant.
