career change: can you?

Hello everyone, I am new in the forum, although I have read it often without registering before.

I have obtained the master's degree curriculum design (strong focus in structural analysis and construction of machines) to the federico ii of napoli in 2017, in times and well, as it had been for three years. I immediately found use in napoli in a small metal-mechanical reality, for a position with tasks related to the most different functions (as can happen in fact not great), a lot of quality control but also a good part of engineering, with typical activities of the structural or manufacturing field.

from mid-2020 I moved to the middle-north for an industrial quality position in a large group.

I do not mind what I have done so far, but I have always been able to work as an strutturist/calclist. my question is therefore the following: what possibilities are there in the short period (1-2 years) to be able to find employment in this last area? I would also be willing to invest in such a way (some calculation codes offer different possibilities of master or other in collaboration with universities) and to accept a non-advancing in terms of career-seniority, of course, being fundamentally novice in the field.

You're an engineer... you've studied these things... I don't see why you can't even invest in further training.
candidates for jobs as a structural analyst, recycle the skills learned in the quality departments that are still convenient to any designer (including defects, production cycles, material limits etc.).

It is clear that you will not go into the new reality to teach the profession, but to learn, assuming that the theoretical bases and knowledge of a fem you already have

who wants to hire usually takes people to train and train in exchange for a salary....base. They have no interest in you being a super good female who takes 3000€ a month....

Thank you so much to all! Of course, I already have the basics, now I am learning independently abaqus, for which the dassault releases a small certificate that I intend to achieve (the cost is definitely reasonable, not like the post-graduate course of ansys with the university of madrid?).

my main "dubbio" is being able to communicate to those who assume the will to lose the seniority built in an area while starting, as junior, in another that would give more professional satisfaction.

Sorry but you graduated in 2017 I do not see from the point of view of who should hire you any problem of service seniority.

This is another grey matter of the world of work. if one takes care of for 3 years of a business environment, every day, in a reality that pushes to work, try, solve problems, innovate, test and in 3 years acquires complete autonomy of action and produces concrete results, for me is a senior of that job.

more so if you then go to a company that has gaps in that area and therefore manages to bring added content as well as tampering.
