categories together

Bye to all,
I must realize,in inventor 2010,a set of a machinery in which there are parts of sheet metal, parts of mechanics, of pneumatic and plastic parts.
to make more practical the visualization I wanted to insert them into the divided assemblies so that with only one command it is possible "spegnere" all a category,how do I have to proceed?
1)I include all parts of sheets in a sub-assieme to be inserted in the main and so on?
2)Is there a possibility to insert a category to each part without inserting it into a sub-assieme?
3) other?

do not create sub-assiems of parts united by some characteristic but maybe scattered here and there in the main axieme because binding them together would be crazy. . .
Maybe it can help you use folders in your browser, create a folder "bladder", "mechanical parts", etc. and move in them the various corresponding parts, they only serve to organize your browser without creating new sub-axis and new files. I can't tell you much more because I never needed to use them.. .
