Hello, everyone.
I'm fighting with revit to draw a roof.
I have selected the roof from the perimeter, I design my roof as I turn it and squirt on full roof and tell me:
impossible because the lines intersect! ! !
then I move them slightly so as not to intersect them and at that point he tells me that they have to define a closed perimeter!! !
But then how do I draw my roof?

If it tells you they're intersecting, it's because you have overlapping traits. . .

no I can assure you that there is no line above the other.
the program speaks of lines that intersect.

I tell you I've done it a lot of times and it's impossible that all the time there are overlapping lines.
I can't figure out how to draw it!!!!
always gives me the same mistake

have you received a basic training on revit, including the theme of roofs?

no I did not receive it.if I can use revit is thanks to my desire to use a new design program :)

in fact my problem is to make a precise roof.

from the posted image you don't understand anything about the roof you're going to do.
I suggest you use the online guide of revit or buy a manual (there are many around both in Italian and English).
I believe precisely, as it has been pointed out previously, that you lack the basics and your consideration that the "problem is to make a precise roof" is confirmed.
the forum can help you on a specific and not general problem... you should "study" on manuals (or also look for videos on the tube).
I'm sorry... if you want I can give you two straights even to fours, I've seen that you're Piedmontese, if we're in the same area we can find... send me a mp

If the two straights give me them here on the forum on how to make the roof I begin to see if I can

I agree with manuel. a forum works well when it is used to find help on specific issues that are usually not solved by books or courses, but a forum should not be understood as a substitute for training. at least, look for "tect" in the revit auito function to learn basic concepts on roofs.

roof design is simple. If you already have the perimeter walls select the roof button from the perimeter, impose the offset which is nothing but the gronda protrusion and with the tool select lines (the green segment) create your line of gronda that must be closed and without overlap. help with the editing tools (line extensions, etc....) to adjust the lines (avoid to do so with the grip). e.g. prizes to exit the perimeter creation and select the lines of grondas that need to define the slope, put the tilt on "defines inclination" in the top bar and express the slope in degrees.). When you're finished press the big green top and if you've done everything right you create the roof. revit calculates displuvi, colmi etc... remaining all that was said before: without a course and some manuals will have the most complicated life of what it takes.
Bye.
