Good morning to all,
I disturb you for a doubt that at first glance it seems quite simple but I cannot find the solution.. :frown:
I have to build a scale to u (three ramps and two intermediate landings). the scale must be supported by a central pillar that supports it throughout its length; the steps will be supported on the mount itself.
Well, I've been trying to recreate the central pillar all morning, but without success. I mean, I don't understand, revit draws the mount only in the first ramp, I don't understand why it interrupts it at the height of the landing, instead of extending it to the bottom. If I put the side supports work, i.e. extend them all the length, instead the mount does not.
of course the scale is non-unilithic, without lift.
I can't figure out where I'm wrong. I'll get you a picture for more clarity.

Good morning, I would like to update you on the situation:
I realized where I was wrong, in the sense that, using a scale created "by component" (command of the 2013 version), you draw the complete ramps, and you do not work drawing the contours, the ups etc.
doing so, drawing the 3 single ramps the central mount is drawn correctly on each ramp (revit understands by himself where there are intermediate landings).

Here is another problem: how to draw the central mount under the intermediate landings? Is there a command to tell you to collect all the mounts in one structure? ?thanks in advance and good work

I think it is appropriate to make a statement about the discussion (but also for others) where we compare with previous versions to that in use.

I don't know if it works on 2013, but:
instead of using the central mount, use only one external mount (right or left) and apply an offset equal to half the width of the scale and activating the mount (of the same height) even under the landing

I think it doesn't work with 2013..if I imposed only one mountaineer (right or left) doesn't make me do the offset..:frown: I still try to clench again.

test with the "open" type mount instead of closed
If you use both of them, activate the offset, use both of them by putting them consecutively on the halfway of the scale (each with half thickness).

if it does not work, use a properly shaped "muro" family (and adequate material), under the landing
