You know how to tell me how to move from one cart to another?
in the sense that if I put on the table a part using a drawing template in an a0 format and then I realize that it was enough an a3 format, how do I do?

now I add a sheet to the drawing file and then move the views and all the rest dragging on the new sheet, but it does not seem to me the correct solution.

Could you give me a few tips?

if you want to switch from a f.t0 to a3 selections between the standards f.to a3.

if instead you want to pass beyond the size, even to the square, table (cartiglio) etc.

thanks to the attention... as always.

for table use of design templates that I created with the various folders, layouts and desired formats.

I often start with a template of a certain format and "road by doing" I decide to change templates with, for example, a different format or a different folder, so I need to replace the design template used at the start with another template.

with other software it would be enough to edit the sheet and make the replacement. with nx I can't do it, in the sense that when publishing the sheet I can only change the template already inserted, do not replace it with another different.

this forces me to insert another sheet into the same .prt file so that I can choose the new design template and then move the views on it. at this point I can delete the first sheet.

actually the template you use is a set of views + curves (cartoon etc) inserted in a defined design space.

I think your approach is a little wrong, or at least as you interpret the use of the template.
in the sense that you would like to replace the template with another, so predefined views and cards .
If you have templates with the only cartiglio you have wrong approach, better use patterns.

If I'm not wrong to understand what you're doing, I'm:
removal of curves (cartoon),
the redefinition of the drawing space (size )
the insert of a new set of curves (cartiglio) suitable to the new format .

At this point we understand that different from the template views are not affected.
Manually, you just need to have patterns with charts of the formats to be inserted according to the needs, take one and put the other.

to tell the truth your procedure by creating a new template on a sheet of truth, you will also create additional views related to that template, which you will have to delete before moving the original ones, (although as a suspect you did not see).

My templates contain only one pane and the corresponding folder.

I don't understand the pattern question. where can I find more information? Could you solve what I'm trying to do?

hi, I solved the problem by adding the "pallets" of the ugii\template folder, clicking on the different format and "usually" updates the table. I say "usually" because sometimes the procedure does not work and I do not understand why! :36_1_4:

Basically, the pattern is nothing but a file containing the definition of the chart (such as your templates I imagine) that is inserted a bit like an autocad block.
I by default explode them to change them individually.
