Bye to all,
I've been working with inventor 2016, I've been editing a set by changing some details. the modification basically consists in changing the length of some metal carpentry components. Now the modified details will have a different file name and are located in another folder, I would not like to make the table pop up I would like the old table to refer to the new file and not to the old, (in the end it is the same detail only longer or shorter, maybe with some extra hole), how do I have to do? I tried to use design assistant but without success, can anyone help me?
Thank you.
following a colleague's advice, I tried this procedure: I move the "old file" to another folder, I open the table, when he asks me where the "old file" is located I place the new one, except by name, I return the old file to the folder. works but it is a bit slender and risk to leave the old orphan table of the reference 3d model if I do not carry the file to its place.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thank you.
