Hey, guys, I wanted to know how I can change a parameter to a family.
I practically have a sink that goes to the core of the wall, eating me so half an element.
How can I do to start the sink from the plaster?
I tried them all...

I hope you're always very exhaustive.

Thank you very much

Here's the zipped file.
Maybe then you'd explain the gfrank procedure.
I have other elements that don't attack where I want to...
Unfortunately, families in revit are quite a complex subject. . .

gfrank I take the opportunity to ask you a question: the project that I am doing and that I will post at the end, I weigh about 23 mb and I press however that I did not insert the blocks in 3d but only those 2d. the whole part of the soil I will do with the modeling. . .
is it normal that you weigh so much and do not yet have to finish it?

Thank you very much.

ps: If you want I can also pass the whole file...

from what I saw in the family you posted, the shelf of the sink was not "stilled" to the surface of the wall.
go to change family and from a view of plant, insert a quota (=0) between the edge of the shelf and the face of the wall and lock it (lock).
charging in the progeto and everything should work

Yes, a bit you can clean (better at the end), with the command: unused helimin, which eliminates unused families in the project ...

Great gfrank, today I'm trying the tips you gave me... Thanks mile.
I wanted to ask you something else if it's possible: but does vray for revit exist?

Hi.
Today I have informed myself a little too and from what I have understood revit can not integrate other rendering engines, so to render with vray the shortest way would import everything in 3ds max and render there, but there seems to be some problem with mapping materials that should practically be done :)

but we wait for confirmation from those who know more about us:

Thanks again guys for me too:)
