Good morning to all,
I thank in advance all those who can help me.
design on autocad map: blocks with different attributes. I would like to be able to change them from a table, like the attributes of the shapes, but I don't go out. the table with attributes I can export it, but I can't make the connection in both ways.

Hi.
Meanwhile thank you for the answer. these days I have spulved many posts of this forum and something I have found, but I do not know how to do it mine (say so). I also understood better what to ask. first of all the command actut...I saw that, by selecting the blocks, I export the attributes, from I can change them and reimport them. but from txt I can not insert further rows. or better I can do it, but then I have to remove the block to which to associate those attributes. already this, is a step forward.
I look for a way to make excel and autocad dialogue.
in autocad I have blocks with coordinates and attributes. in excel I have all the information about those blocks, coordinates and attributes. I just need to find a way to say autocad, see that excel file? here you take the information from them and enter the blocks in the points indicated with the expected attributes.
Is it possible? I've seen that there are vbas, but I can't change them.
Thank you.

if the blocks have a unique identifier or a key field that is also found in the excel file then it is possible. configuring (mapconfigdb) and associating an external ordbc data source (mapattachdb) can connect the xls file with the design in a bidirectional manner

hi.
i tried, but unfortunately i haven't worked with gis for years and i don't remember anything anymore. i come to some point and then i lose myself. what do you mean the block must have a unique code? do i have to insert something?
i try to tell you exactly how the block is composed:
has 6 attributes: picture number, source type, pole height, progressive number (referred to the picture number, so there may be 2 numbers 1, but each reported to a different picture), power, number of light points associated with that pole.
i already have an excel table with coordinates and the required data. columns called as attributes. but from here on, i lose. by the way, as i tell him to use exactly that block.
a heartfelt thanks in advance.

unique code means an attribute that has a different value for each block. the picture number for example...is a number that can be equal in two or more blocks or each has its own?

i created the table by inserting a progressive. i'm going crazy trying to connect to the database, but i'm afraid that mine can't depend on the fact that i have office 365. i don't know what fish it is.
and i am sorry to take advantage of your kindness, even because my knowledge will never be such as to return.

also.
but i wish i could put the excel blocks in practice.
i have to put a thousand and even more. each has its own attributes, which are often repeated. all those data, including coordinates, i already have them in excel. i wish i could export them in autocad.

this without a plugin is not possible. you can do in 2 steps possibly (first import points and then link to the db) but from excel in map3d you will never rule the coordinates.
with civil3d and dynamo the possibility instead there would be

so, i can extract the data, including the coordinates, but i can't reimport the data. and i can't even connect to a database, can i?
handle.
thank you for your patience and kindness. thank you.

connect you yes, but you can't manage (that i know) the coordinates from excel files with map3d.

i saw that the coordinates could handle them via vba, but i can't even insert the attributes

well, yeah, by scripting, you can make him do whatever you want. also make them fill out the attributes; but you have to know the right calls to class methods. i can't help you
