v5 is the other cad present where I worked, so the main interface I saw it and comparing myself to other colleagues, it had emerged precisely this first difference in the management of constraints.

I take my experience about v5 and v6 in the same company, if I needed a component of the v5 not yet imported, I then found myself dealing with an imported math like any other cad, very frustrating as what, that was a disrespect or choice of the cad manager I don't know, of course this made me miss a lot of time.

It's not like this anymore. v5 files are uploaded as native. Maybe you tried a v6 a while ago.

the files I opened them through classical research, then right click and opened in catia, the double click with the left opened the enovia explorer to see the object (I hope it was a setting, but the graphics quality was very low).
search for files was not problematic, because it was set with many parameters including the business unit and as the codes had root according to the business unit, it was not difficult to find what you were looking for, different discourse for the uncoded files where to go with the search with the wildcard characters becomes a problem, but there was a more organizational problem of the various technical offices that in central office had not yet resolved.

enovia as it was set did not have workspace, there was only the local cache, this allowed to carry out more projects with multiple different teams (I saw that I was pre-industrialization, organization of the distinct and verification of the more complex 3ds) was very useful.

Isn't that you're confused with the 3d experience?

as first thing I think is missing, it is a better management on repeat commands especially on series, where between part and product there is no direct link (if I insert a screw in a hole that is part of a series, I have to go tell him to the system that follows that certain series and even worse in some cases it is forced to create a set of points in shape in a product to follow the components a certain dislocation.

Catia v6 is at 2016x.
Of course a cad manager who "free" the historian in v5 so.....

Instead, on enovia, contrary to what you said, I found that it keeps the files loaded previously in memory and it's not immediate to reload them. Is there a command to "delete" the enovia cache?

patterns are not "case sensitive", or you have to go looking for them in the 3dparts, and be sure to have assembled the component in the correct position, otherwise the pattern goes in different direction.

enovia keeps the files loaded in the home, but it is not a real workspace, it is more a sort of "chronology", if you load a large set, not fully loaded all the sub-components and in the home see only what you put hand on, in a workspace you would see instead everything.
