It's clear that we have to do business.
for licenses not mach how do I behave?
Do I have to upgrade to mach? In words the boss told me it costs less to buy the new license and stop the maintenance of the old. sounds strange because this is how new customers are privileged with licenses to the last cry while we "historic" customers are relegated to old licenses that in some cases do not even have the nx sheet metal module and if you try to update them is a sausage.

or can you add on existing licenses only the express tc module to save?

I have to ask. costs? if you can't for policy siemens, it's okay also mp. thanks.

8-9 days seem a little to me for my experience. when it was introduced tc here it took 30 days of advice, but we had special needs.
in any case attention because if you decide to leave the first months will be challenging.
there will be inevitable bumps, because the initial day of analysis many times (and always with the hindsight) will prove insufficient and you will decide to change a certain amount of things.
My advice is to think of an implementation as flexible as possible, avoiding excessively stiffening management.
dulcis in fundo, when you leave then you do not go back (or at least it is very difficult); and remember to put to budget a few consulting days every year, for the inevitable adjustments that each system requires (including management).
a plm is a nice "salt", but it is worth it!
ps: be careful to coto also purchase a database (ms sql server or oracle).

I can't tell you for the cost.
You have to ask a commercial.
upgrade from old licenses to new coasts, because there are a lot of new features.
the machx however cost less maintenance, so, in the end, they agree... However, it is a choice of the company.
it is always possible to add a tc on-top license the "old" nx (advdes etc)

attention that tc and tc express are slightly different (not at the level of functionality or compatibility, but as sales mode... tc is sold by live, while tcx by retailers... and as "potentiality" tcx has already understood certain ootb features that tc has... tc is scalable, tcx no... etc.)
You'd better talk to commercials anyway. . .

Hello stefano,
apart from that as versions progress, they also advance features and ease of installation/configuration.
now you do with "configuration" things that you had to do before "developing".
obviously adding content changes.. .
If for example you add "I want a live connector with sap"... eehhh... multi module... configurations... test... it's clearly not 1 day stuff
if for example you add "I want to recover the distinct techniques that not in my legacy pdm" we have to develop, test, etc... it takes ips_upload etc...

those I put are just the minimal days if one wants to do cad vaulting or just more...

ps: you're right! It also takes the db that is not provided by us. I always take it for granted, especially because, normally, it is already present in the company under the erp or in previous cad vaulting.
