Good evening to all,
exists the way, a make-up, a possibility to choose the .sldreg setting file to be applied when we launch the solidworks application? having to work with different settings between them, and having to change often from one to another, turn and turn you forget to launch the correct .sldreg file before starting solid. Does anyone have a problem like mine? How did you resurrect it, if you solved it? thanks to all in advance

Why should you work with different settings? What's the point? means change the approach to configuration every time.
I'll check it later, but I think it's not only possible, but there's never even been a similar request opened.

need to change settings (we work on multiple databases ...). thanks for the link, I threw an eye but from what I understood, there they want to turn the .sldreg file into a registry key... I would like to launch solid with a macro....any application that, before starting the real swx application ask me which .sldreg file I want to apply.

you could create batch divers that execute the sequence of applying the right sldreg and then launch swx, to have everyone ready on the desktop:

swx-pippo.bat
swx-pluto.bat
....
...
etc.

eh.... is what I do today... i.e. launch the various .sldreg files according to need...but if I forget......was and hopes that solid loads all the files of the various assemblies, parts and toolbox looking for them in the wrong paths....I would like to make the process of choice "obligated" before starting solid

When it happens to me (with another cad) I kill him from task manager.

if you make a batch that:

1) call the sldreg choice utility, without specifying which configuration file
2) launch solidworks

Maybe it opens the mask of choice of the file, and then in sequence launches solidworks, it would be to give us a try.

is exactly what I would like to do.... a choice curtain between the various .sldreg.... that is applied without need to create backups and without any confirmation, then starts automatically swx... you have hit the target!! ;)
