Hello everyone,
are at the forefront of the use of cad programs for an engineering examination. I would like to ask if in inventor you can find in which points the profile 2d is not closed. I don't see any problems of any kind, but it doesn't allow me to extrude a certain profile. Thank you.

when you try to extrude, in the window that handles the processing, you see a red cross.
pressing on the button, starts a diagnosis that checks the problems of the sketch and proposes corrections.

in some points certainly lacks the constraint of coincidence.
you can examine the sketch with the function you find by extruding the profile with a red cross below right

ok I tried with sketches very simple and with obvious errors, and I found very useful the function "close loop" (I have the English version as imposed by the polytechnic) hope you help me on even more complex occasions. Thank you.

In any case inventor indicates all the parts of the sketch that are not completely bound in green (in addition to the counter of how many constraints are still necessary to have a sketch completely bind), this is already a useful first eye help to understand if some part of the sketch can have problems and, as indicated, when extruding the sketch is reported the problem.

in any case it is always good norm that before leaving the sketch environment, how much drawn is completely bound to avoid successive problems.
