Good morning to all, I was evaluating the purchase of a 3d filament stand for rapid prototypes. I also saw the wasp with the possibility to connect the cnc machining kit and I think the interesting option.
But I don't want to fall into the error of having a "half" of everything, i.e. 3d printer and cnc milling machine, but at least the second, not useful.
Some of you have made different choices, maybe taking a 3d milling machine? If yes, can you tell me about the models that I can evaluate as a separate choice from the 3d printer?
specific that dealing with electronics, we need to work small pieces, of maximum thickness 10mm in aluminum or copper or brass.

Thank you.

If to fresare you intend to get pieces for removal of truciole iho do not believe that the printer in question lasts too.
if instead you think you use it with microfrese to get printed circuits, it could also go.

My personal conviction is that a frieze cannot be controlled with elastic systems (such as dentate straps).

Therefore (always according to my very modest opinion) a 3d printer with ticklines :-) if not operated with screws on x-y-z axes is probably source of various degrees of disappointment (directly proportional to the thickness to be worked).

I believe tectabta is perfectly right, without a proper structure hardly a printer can turn into a frieze.
the tangential forces to be countered are definitely critical, unless one wants to cut polystyrene or electronic bases.

thanks to all for the advice, I had guessed that the two things, i.e., cut and 3d printing had to be managed by two different machines.
I then bought a 3d fdm printer for the prototypes in abs and pla and now I'll see for the cut. I found solutions produced near parma (maximum rams rm-easystep 3d) which however have quite important costs.
Because of this, maybe it's more convenient for me to lean on external equipment.
for the realization of the printed circuit boards, so much to give you information, it no longer makes much sense to self-construction.
with less than 100 euros you can have in the final version 5 pieces, sent in less than 3 working days.

Thank you.
