I would like to know if someone knows a way to link iges files to import into classic ansys so that you can re-update geometry if this is modified, a bit like the "refresh geometry" command on the workbench.

fast answer: no, it is not possible.
you have some distant hope that the numbering of the iges file surfaces remains unchanged if the topology of the solid remains the same (i.e. if there are small geometric variations, but the number of points, lines and faces always remains the same).

Sorry I have a doubt about your answer.. .
I mainly realize to the cad a path of a line that simulates my element to analyze, then this I take it in iges to feed it to theansys. So how long do you think I should be able to make an update or not? Would it be enough to reimport the model?

then do a clear and restart, import the modified geometry and recheck the numbering.
If everything matches it means you can reimport the model as a kind of "refresh geometry".
important: you must always make a clear - restart to zero all entities and numbering associated with them.

But the clear-restart doesn't eliminate everything? re amounts the updated geometry, but all settings, materials, elements, carich are also deleted. in this case the solution cannot be to use a text file with commands that reads all the procedure (including updated iges)?
