color non-active lines

I am a beginner with vectorworks and I am currently working on vw 2008 in English.

I have the following problem: I assigned to a class red color and thickness 0.13.
then I also activated the class option "use graphic attributes at creation".
Despite this, the program continues to make me the lines of the class in black and with a standard thickness, nor by the way of editing the lines in red at a later time.

I assume that there is a display option that should be activated.
But where do I find her?

uncheck all items, go to the attribute panel and set everything (pen, filling, thickness, etc.) as categories (classes in English).
basically tell the default sw to draw each new object according to the categories parameters.

hello, check that the black and whitee only option is not active. find it in the documentation preferences. with this kind of active display see all lines of black design.
Also check that the option is not activated slightly below use layer color. also this force the elements of the design to take the colors of the layer.

in fact it depended on the layers. rightly in vectorworks you have both classes and layers, I had not thought about it!
