command size and retino

Hello
I have a problem with the trim.
I have always used the trim with double click (dx) to cut portions of lines or polylines. Now instead I am working on a file given to me by other people in which doing the same procedure that I have always done with the trim instead cuts me portions of lines considering the retino that is next to us and not the lines of reference that I would like to be considered. I think it's a matter of variables. Is there anyone who has dealt with my own problem?

Sorry, I got whistles for whistles, osoptions for snaps, not for trim.
the only variable I know, which intervenes in the operation of the trim/extend command is edgemode, another I don't know.

to trim you can or select 2 extremities sent> and then select the affected part to remove.
or select the command trim>2 times click with the button dx>e select the affected part. Okay?
if the interested part however has as background a retino (obviously not solid) proceeding with the second option, it begins to cut by portions, so many are the lines that make up the retino below, that is as if the lines of the retino were so many ends. I remember, at least until 2007, it wasn't like that. that is, even if there was a retino below as cutting ends were considered the lines/polilines etc. not a retino.
Am I clear now?

If I understand your problem well, perhaps you've turned on something that seems to me not useful in this case. repeat the command size, and indifferently from your choice whether it is a line or all the design, select from the various successive options "spigolo"! you will see activated (according to me) "extension" . you must type "n" to cancel the extension of the edge (which causes you the "fastidium" in this case). try and see how it goes...

3 instead of considering as limits of the cut the lines or polylines present around, consider in first instance the retino that lies below, as if they were lines (as if the retino had exploded)

in the video you can notice how all those parallel clear lines are a net, while the dark vertical line is a boundary polyline

I will be the retino is a drawing entity! so it is clear that it takes it as cutting line! unless the retino is solid. instead of selecting "all" select the first cut line I see on the right of the video (the vertical one to understand us) and then select the line to cut in a click! What's the problem? he had understood everything else (at least I)
