Hello.
I would like to understand what are the potential of the collade format in terms of engineering sturdiness. in practice what information can contain? for example material, type processing, physical properties etc... besides geometry and kinematics. Is the comparison between glue, vrml, stl, iges, and others? do you know? which can become a standard in the future for data interchange? do you know how to indicate sites, and documents dealing with these problems?
then what software manages to date the collade format? how do you add animations to an airplane model in a collade, downloaded from google? I tried to download the viewer from the official website of the project but I couldn't make it work.
http://www.khronos.org/collada/http://sourceforge.net/projects/collection/files/collection dom/http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/index.php/topic, 444947.0/all.htmlany suggestion is well accepted!
Thank you.
