Good morning to all, and thank you all in advance.
I installed wf2 on windows 7, apparently it seems compatible, the only problem encountered after a few hours of work and the interactive selection, i.e., does not illuminate the plan or surface I am trying to select.

Did someone have my own problem?
thanks again good work to all:mad::mad:

probably will be a problem of graphics card driver.
It's the least that can happen if you want to use a 4-year-old cad on a much younger operating system. . .
If I were you:
1) I would update the version of proe
2) install xp instead of w7

wf2 is not certified by ptc on windows 7.
there may be problems of stability and visualization ... so if you work it is already a miracle medium.
have you tried to contact your dealer or ptc assistance (the latter, if you are not in maintenance, maybe they will twist your nose a bit)?

Do you know if a win7 compatible version of wf2 comes out?

the development of the wf2.0 stopped with the m280 version in January 2007 then I would exclude an update to windows 7.
the development of the wf3.0 should preview the version m250 in June 2010.
the development of the wf4.0 should preview the version m150 in June 2010.
the development of the wf5.0 should predict the version m040 in May 2010.
the development of the wf6.0 should preview the version c000 in the second trimester 2011 and f000 in the fourth trimester 2011.
this is what I found in an American forum; Take it with your pliers.

I remember you got my mail. :-)

cmq no, as correctly said proengblog wf2 stopped at that development, so it will never be certified.
for wf3 is currently not expected, perhaps in the next builds.
While:
wf4 is certified by m120 up.
wf5 is certified by m010 up.
wf6 will be certified by c00 up.

greetings

I remember, even if we feel very little, it was just a curiosity. I would like to start using it again after the long pause (another unfortunately) and I would like to do it at least from 4.0. useless use a tool now so old, although valid, surely not to the height of the last versions (my to the ptc work to worsen).
so if now as a user now burns the workstation or takes it again with xp/view or updates at least to 3.0, this is interesting.
