I have to do the fem analysis of the welded axieme attached.
bound on the hole and loaded on the horn tips.
if it was a part with many body, instead of a product, the thing would be simple.
I thought of using the command "genera catpart from product" and then proceed in the usual way.
does not work because the surfaces are no longer recognized. Why?
What method should you use?
Thank you.

the fastest way, probably, is to generate the iges of the axieme and then use that for the fem simulation.

I tried, but after applying the material to the new part regenerated by the igs, the mass is wrong.
should be 64 kg and instead:
- through the command "property" everything is zero
- through the "weight" button the result is 18 kg

also does not work however as the surfaces are not recognized
other ideas? ?

I partially solved the problem.
given the product to test, ytilizzare the command "genera catpart da product".
you generate a catpart with so many leotards how many are the components of the assembly.
using the bolean command "assembla", assemble a component at a time in the partbody, until you get a single partbody with inside "assembly" curtains as many original components.
the part is ready for the fem.

in my case at the end of the calculation (after entering constraints and loads) an error comes out (see attachment). I can't figure out where the cheating is.
in case I can attach all files.

...you have the part not fully bound, so matrix of rigidity not invertible. . .

I would have done the axieme analysis and not the catpart.. .

Hi.

It is true, however, the analysis pel product is very laborious, and also it is not like defining the type of welding.
In fact it would seem that in gsa the type of welding that can be applied is unique and standard. It is not possible, as in weld design, to define the shape the section and type of welding material. On the other hand welds defined in weld design are not imported into gsa, but we find ourselves with a overlap of part corresponding to all welds.:confused::confused:

I followed the council and did the axieme analysis.
I had to model dozens of welds and at the time of calculation came out an error message that I attach.
How can you increase the "continuous memory" ?
What is it and where is it?
