I was writing num. part instead of part in the properties! I will have lost half a day

Another thing, for these types of projects (in which I have many commercial profiles with different configurations within a set), tips to use parts composed of different structural elements and then make them virtual in the assemblies? so that you don't have strange parts names within the committing folder... or do you have any contraindications?

I never found problems with virtual parts, but I don't use them massively.
being inside the axieme this will result heavier as file size.
a discussion was recently opened in which it seems that 2018 has some problems with virtual parts.

I use 2019 premium office

so I have to reduce to have a folder on the server, with within the part of a commercial component with n-exime length configurations?

or create these "auxiliary" parts composed of structural elements created ad hoc and with "non-official" names within each project (we do almost 100 orders each year)

Why configurations? you should use the structural elements just to not make configurations. Does the example file seem to have made configurations?
configurations of a part that is virtualized only apply to the axieme in which they are inserted

apart from the problem presented in 2018 and not in 2019, you can do a test period where you virtualize the parts and for security you make a backup copy, maybe in the evening, of the part to hold in an external folder.
It is not even said that this is the perfect method, but you can only discover it, that you know your work and your file management, trying it

hi I intrometto, I never used virtual parts, maybe wrong, I use many commercial parts.
I wanted if possible a clarification I saw several posts and read the solid guide, but I do not understand the advantage of using virtual parts....
I understood that they would have the advantage of making the axieme lighter, but then I read that they are useful in the design top down but does not explain how..... .
