Good morning.
use revit 2016
I have a big problem with the compute of the materials of the walls.
I have to write the metric compute but the square meters that revit lists in the abacus "compute of the wall materials" are not correct.
the calculated quantities do not reflect the graphically represented. the calculation height is that of the axis of the wall for any material besides if the wall cuts both the floor and the countertop (mixed with the joint command), revit calculates the height like that net interplane and not that total from insole to insole despite in section is graphically correct. I attach a screenshot of my section.
thanks in advance

on purpose they are called "abachi" and not "meaning treats".
revit accounting the holes but not the unions between elements of the structure. read on the online help:Note: When revit calculates the volume of materials for individual layers of a wall, some approximations are made to safeguard performance. minor discrepancies may appear among the volumes visible in the model and those included in the abacus of materials. These discrepancies are usually used when using an extrusion on the path or a groove on a wall or under certain conditions of union.

Thank you very much for the answer.
a pity that revit does not return this data that for those who design and make computations are indispensable.
I also think it should not be a very difficult thing to implement revit with this function.
Thank you.

Forgive me, but until yesterday how did you do it? There are things much more indispensable than those to implement first of all, believe me.. .
ps is not true that it does not return that data, simply tells you that there may be minor discrepancies

Well minor discrepancies I don't know.....only for the outer coat on a medium sized cottage (100 square meters per floor on 2 floors) the difference is about 7% less than that calculated manually....it doesn't seem to me what recently!! Planning wooden houses should be said that my coat does not stop on the ground floor but drops 10 cm below the finished floor.
until now I manually calculated the quantities or applied percentages of corrections to those dates from revit but it seems absurd!1.webp

Hello jarjarfix,
I ask you something: can you share the rvt file so we take a look to see where the error comes from? Thank you.

Sorry but I can't upload the revit file. It tells me that the file is not valid.
I cleaned up my file of everything you don't need by reaching a size of about 6 mega but it doesn't charge the same. How can I do that?
