cone development with processing

hi king....I saw the file....it would also be good done using the loft sheet...but with the folds...the problem and that it does not accept the 3d sketches and therefore having to make then the conical cut after...I would not have the correct background...and then return to have the same doubt...the developments that kicks solid on those maths are correct?

try to remake the loft sheet by choosing flattened and unformatted...and you will see that it does not accept the 3d sketch below

How do you want to make this piece? If you make a multiply, I'd go a different way.

I attach a real multi-fold with the measures you have indicated. if you make a greater number of sides will be more adherent to the initial shape.

I turn you a development parasolid that came to me with nx, using cono-solid-disassato mathematicians.
some considerations:
1) the disassato cone is developable because it is in 'single curvature' and not in double curvature.
2) there may be small discrepancies between the various developments that depend on the k factor used. if in fact mix the lengths of the outer edge and the inner edge (about 78,6 and 70,7) you will find in your development an intermediate length, much closer to the smallest value, much closer to zero is the k factor.

resolid....see that your final cut creates an unrealistic edge on the bottom...so it is not good done so

I also cling to the demands on cone development. I made a sheet loft that I can develop. But I need to stretch it and fold it so we can do some work. the function "explain" was good, while I can't fold it with the special function. suggestions?

this kind of cone trunk, it also teases me who are accustomed to drawing development without the help of a program. the thing that I think no one has asked, is whether it is a regular cone trunk cut by a tilted plane, or if even the base is circular. I can't see other designs.
