Bye-bye.

I looked for the topic in the forum but I didn't find any exhaustive so
I personally question you...

I'm trying to model a pantograph fork in ansys 12 classic,
knowing the coordinates of the various connecting hinges between the rods I have
generated these last as keypoints, so I generated pass lines for the newly defined keypoints thus obtaining beam elements and their pantograph structure nodes

passing to the definition of the constraints I realized that while the zipper and trolley of the pins in contact with the base and with the platform are external constraints (to understand respectively the nodes 2, 1, 12 and 11 of the screenshot) because they exchange forces with the outside of the pantograph structure, the hinges that allow the rods to exchange forces between them are internal constraints (the knots from 3 to 10 and from l6 to l10)

So my question is: how do you specify that the joint nodes of the auctions should be free to move than the outside environment but must act as a hinges for the auctions themselves? ?

I hope to have been clear...thanks to everyone for availability
